The organization has received no reply from the Soviet newspaper.<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">WE SUPPORT THE RIGHT\u00a0of every person to migrate freely, including the right\u00a0of Jews from the Soviet Union to immigrate to Israel. However, we would like to draw the attention of all Soviet citizens to the following facts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Israel&#8217;s government practises a policy whose aim is to enable Jews to\u00a0immigrate only to Israel, and to prevent their immigration to other countries.\u00a0This policy in fact denies the right to migrate freely.<\/li>\n<li>During all those years when Israel demanded of the Soviet Union to allow\u00a0Jews to emigrate from there to Israel, all Israeli governments consistently denied\u00a0the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland. Israel&#8217;s official\u00a0policy \u2013 which is embodied in laws, regulations and coercive measures \u2013 is to\u00a0prevent in every way the return of the refugees to their country, whether to\u00a0the territories under Israeli occupation or to its own sovereign territory.<\/li>\n<li>The criticism voiced in the West against the Soviet policy on emigration\u00a0covers up the fact that the rich Western countries as well do not uphold the\u00a0freedom of migration: like the borders of Israel, their own borders are shut to\u00a0masses of people who wish to immigrate into them in order to work or even\u00a0become naturalized there.<\/li>\n<li>Israel&#8217;s government is not interested in securing international recognition of\u00a0the right to free migration. Its aim is to exploit the emigration of Jews from the\u00a0Soviet Union in order to promote the realization of the Zionist movement&#8217;s\u00a0aspirations: to perpetuate the existence of Israel as a Jewish state discriminating\u00a0against its non-Jewish citizens, and to preclude any chance of implementation\u00a0of the right of the Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.<\/li>\n<li>The immigration of Jews into Israel is portrayed in the Soviet Union as a\u00a0humane process of family re-unification. At the same time, Israel&#8217;s government\u00a0refuses to allow the re-unification of Palestinian families, and even breaks up\u00a0families by deporting Palestinians from the occupied territories.<\/li>\n<li>The present wave of Jewish migration from the Soviet Union to Israel is\u00a0partly a result of growing manifestations of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union.\u00a0We oppose all manifestations of racism everywhere, including anti-Semitism in\u00a0the Soviet Union.
