In order to clear the space for the construction of the Hilton hotel in Tel Aviv, the larger part of the Abd a-Nabi Moslem cemetery was destroyed, in the early 1960’s. The cemetery had been used by the villagers of al-Mas’udiyya (better known as Summayl) to bury their dead, until – fearing attack by zionist forces – they fled in the end of December 1947 and became refugees. Ahmad Massarweh, a Matzpen veteran who  worked in the 60’s as a bulldozer operator, testified in front of Eran Torbiner’s camera about the cemetery’s fate, and his refusal to take part in it (the full interview was filmed in Ar’ara on 29.03.2018).
