[This is a translation of a Hebrew leaflet]

The Palestinian refugees in the Sabra, Shatila and Ain al-Hilwe refugee camps who have survived the massacre and bombings find themselves once again, for the umpteenth time, bare and destitute, without shelter. Their homes have been thoroughly and deliberately destroyed to make them disappear from the face of the earth. They are being utterly persecuted not only by Israel but also by the Lebanese government. They have been in real exile since they were expelled or fled from here in 1948.

Those Israelis who were outraged at the massacre and bombings must not keep silent while these refugees are being robbed of their right to return to their homeland and be rehabilitated in it. Their right to return to their homeland must be recognized and fought for. Such a step would be an initial contribution to establishing future relations between the Israeli and Palestinian peoples on solid foundations of fraternity and equality.
